Is evvnly really free?
Yes. Groups, expenses, settling up, offline sync, multi-currency, and CSV export are free forever — no daily caps, no credit card, no quiet downgrades.
Do my friends need an account to join a group?
On the free plan, yes — friends install evvnly and sign up to join your group. With Plus or a Trip Pass you can skip even that: send a share link and they're in, no account at all.
What does evvnly Plus include?
Share links so friends can join without an account, receipt scanning via camera, live exchange rates, spending insights, group budgets, PDF and Excel export, and expense approvals. Subscribe monthly or annually. For one-off trips, the Trip Pass unlocks Plus for the whole group for 30 days.
Does evvnly move my money?
No — and it never will. evvnly works out who pays whom and how much; you settle in cash, by bank transfer, or however your group already pays each other. We never hold your money.
What happens to my data?
Nothing we'd be embarrassed to tell you. We don't sell it and we don't build advertising profiles. evvnly is funded by subscriptions.
What currencies does evvnly support?
You can set manual exchange rates for any currency on the free tier. Plus subscribers get live rates fetched automatically.
Does evvnly work for just two people?
Yes — two roommates, a couple splitting rent, or twenty friends on a group trip. The group size doesn't change how it works. And if you and a partner want Plus together, a household plan is on the roadmap.
